Sidewalk Leveling
If you have recently moved here, or if you have lived here your whole life, there is one problem that is common on all types of homes - sinking and un-level sidewalks. This is a problem that has many causes, including poorly backfilled soil beneath the sidewalk or improper pouring techniques used during the time of construction. Regardless of what has caused the problem, you know have sinking concrete on your property and it's an eye sore. Not only this, but this kind of problem could pose a tripping hazard to your family or to any guests to your home. You don't want to be liable for any injuries anyone experiences! So, it is best to get the problem taken care of immediately when you notice it.
Concrete Repair
When it comes to repairing the un-level sidewalks, we make use of a process known in the industry as polyjacking. While it's similar to slabjacking or mudjacking, it makes use of different materials and is a much more efficient and effective way to go about taking care of sagging slabs.
Polyjacking makes use of a polyurethane foam material, whereas mud or slabjacking make use of a messy concrete slurry mix. The mix is pumped into large holes that are often difficult to patch over. With polyjacking, very tiny holes are needed, and they are easy to fill in once the repair process is over.
